Hey there, I'm Xayu. I'm a 17-year-old geek from Asia.
( ' - ' ) Yeah, that is a fitting phrase to describe me.
I'm pretty flexible, watching and reading every kind of anime or manga, and OSTs or movies, whether they're for boys or for girls. Yeah, I mean it. You name them: extra violent, disgustingly creepy, immensely scary, or whatever else, and I have no complaints at all in watching it later on. I'm also a wide reader. I tend to be the kind of person that would check out reading materials often. With regards to that, I'm also fond of writing stories and drawing. I had made several original, short mangas which were only shared amongst my closest friends since they were only for fun. To my friends, they consider me the type that never seem to run out of ideas, whether it is academically or creatively.
My other hobbies or interests include playing videogames. I'm actually more of a die-hard gamer than an anime "otaku." I have a vast range of game collections. And similar to my anime side, I play every kind of videogame. I had a long-run of connections with videogames in my childhood, even longer than my anime fandom. Outside the world of gaming, I also tend to snap numerous photos. Yes, photography. My favorate subject is usually nature. Though, I also enjoy snapping urban areas.
Urbanization? Yes. I also have a tendency to have a huge love for high-technology. Gadgets, computers, machinery, robotics... Whatever else, if it's the topic, then I'm all over for it. Oh, yeah, and I like my music turned on whenever I am working, but it depends on the situation. Okay. Beyond that, I enjoy authoring sites. Whether if it's site coding or site designing, it's also a form of my hobby. I am more of a software specialist over a hardware specialist. All though I also have a good percent of knowledge regarding the both of them. Yeah, that's basically it... I suppose.

Hey just wandering through and giving props for your "i Like everything" approach to anime, and your competent comments in your 'viewed' section. If you're after the art of so many, a lot of anime torrent sites have artbook listings if you search for them, I got Air and Pita-ten that way, but don't know if you use torrents. Take care.

Okay, first things first, I'm so sorry for getting around so late. Usually Rah handles member applications, but he probably missed this one [considering I can't see any posts by him], so I decided to come around. So SORRY for the extremely late reply
Secondly, I have APPROVED your application into UA, because you have excellent technique skills.
Just to sum up our group in case if you're not too sure on how we work, we usually work on the basis of how many people are watching you [well, usually we look at the mutual side of this], how many favourites you get, the quality of work, and how you get those favourites. We only accept people with relatively smaller watchlists and with works below what the quality demands. Of course there are exceptions when your work is highlighted and you get many favourites from that, but we don't allow top submissions made by friend faving- that's our goal- to get into the top subsmissons [or highlights] WITHOUT having to have lots of friends to auto-fave works. So we do that by improvement

Uhmmmm what else... we have a lively gbook. And we have fortnightly competitons. You probably have seen them on the page, actually. You get a theme, 2 weeks [usually longer though
], upload the entry, drop the link into the gbook, and then when everything's
done, you come back to vote for your top3 and most improved entries

don't have to join; we don't force people to submit entries, but we encourage
people to vote. With voting, we also hope that people go ahead, download the
entries and then leave a comment. [That benefits both sides- the entrant gets
good criticism, and the commenter can earn some credits and improve their own
eye for detail

Our group is always here for any evaluating purposes [say, if you need an opinion on your work or something- I realised you got no replies on your sandbox thread. You could always create a sandbox thread and drop the thread link in the gbook- or you can save those few credits and just drop the link of the work in the group gbook XP]
So either way, we're just a group of chums - we've had some great success *points at the UA collab* since that won the round~ so as a group we're fairly good at helping members
